Halfway There
It has been a few months since I have posted anything. Work and schooling have been really busy. Which is great because I love to be busy at work and with school. I'm finally learning about the stuff I have been wanting to for vet tech school. All the super fascinating stuff, to me, and gaining more knowledge. Some of it being clinical pathology which I barely knew anything about but now know a lot more of. I am half way through my third semester. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is the second Externship which is large animal and exotics at the end of Semester 4.
Postcrossing has gotten more exciting. I have sent about 20 or so. People love them and I love getting postcards in return. I enjoy checking the mail every day because of it. I have done a few direct swaps where someone has contacted me directly and asked for a swap and it has worked out great.
Just a few postcards I have received.
We lost a great receptionist at work (moved to Iowa to be with her boyfriend) and hired someone new but we have been short staffed for like a month because she left. And the other receptionist we hired we had to let her go because she stopped showing up to work.
We have hired a new guy but he can't work for two weeks so things at work have been even crazier now that we are picking up and have one less person.
It's been a rough few weeks with some rough deaths at work, animals, not people. They definitely hit the heart bad.
In other news. Our plan is to move into the house by Thanksgiving which means I will be trying to get my corgi very soon after before snow falls. It is all very exciting and I look forward to the future. We will have our first Christmas together and he wants to get a 12 foot artificial tree. An expensive one not a cheap one. We have never spent Christmas together so this should be very exciting. and with a puppy which will be even more exciting!
Hope the rest of the year goes well. I will be going camping next month and I cannot wait for a break from work and to just get away and enjoy a week of wilderness and lake.
My Birthday was last month and I finally got an edible fruit arrangement. I have wanted one since high school and my parents had it delivered to me at work. My coworker also got me a few things which was super nice:) My work family is great. And corey got me an edible fruit arrangement as well since he knew I wanted one. I had a lot of fresh fruit that week. Glorious.
