Nearing the end of 2017

I can't believe how fast the year has gone. I feel like it just started and then I blinked and a whole year has gone by. It's been a relatively okay year. I wouldn't say anything fascinating has happened. We were supposed to be moving into a house by the end of the year now its going to be more like the end of January MAYBE and it wont even be Corey and I's house but his roommates. A good year at work. Had our Christmas work party and we got nice shirts and under armour jackets with our logo on them. They are really nice. My secret santa got me nice measure spoons (Joseph Joseph) and a spatula with a K on it from Williams Sonoma. Perfect! I am no longer gluten free. That lasted a little over a month and I did not notice much difference so I went back to it and just continued on my way. I think it might be dairy so I am trying to eat less of that but that's definitely hard to do. I LOVE cheese. haha. It has been a little bit better lately. Also my acid reflux barely acts up anymore. It is wonderful. Things that used to bother me don't really anymore.
My brother and sister in law came to visit at the beginning of the month and it was great! I wish they could have stayed longer.
The new year I would hope would bring me a corgi..but who knows. it will certainly bring me to 28 years old. UGH.
We will not be going to Pax this coming spring as we are trying to save money for the house we will hopefully be building next fall.
I got some early Christmas gifts; ps4! with Starwars battlefront 2, Horizon Zero Dawn; The Complete Edition and Project Cars 2. I have a ps4 game list I am going off of. I am hoping for Crash Bandicoot. I don't have many friends on ps4. I sent a request to everyone I knew who have one which is like 5 people and 3 have accepted. Id like to get playstation plus at some point to play Overwatch. I think it would be a lot of fun. Just can't afford it right now.
I saw The last Jedi in IMAX 3D last sunday. What an amazing movie <3.
I hope this new year brings exciting things and once we move I hope to bake more delectable treats as we will have a real kitchen and a dishwasher.
Some deliciousness I have made in the past few months. I don't always take pictures of what I make. I have made gluten free gingerbread cookies for my works Christmas party and they came out amazing.
A goal for the new year try and bake things that I have always been nervous to bake like fruit pies and homemade bread. And to not be afraid to try more things at work. Just be like I'll do it instead of someone asking me if I want to. It's how you learn and get better. Some people should probably try acting less like a crazy bitch in 2018 but that probably won't happen. HA
I am on my last semester of schooling and I applied to a Maine Vet Tech Student Scholarship and won $1,000 towards my Penn Foster which was fantastic! Have applied twice to Harold Alfond Program and have not gotten it. Probably won't. I am sure there are people out there with bigger loans than me.
Anywho I hope everyone has a good rest of 2017. Happy Christmas and Happy New Year!
