Update on Life
WE HAVE A DOG. WE HAVE A DOG.
June 1st we got our nugget. My post before last talked about test driving her and we convinced the roommate, since its his house, to let us have her. Didn't take much effort. She is pretty lovable.
I'm just going to show her off a little bit:
Her name is Presence. 4 1/2 year old black Labrador retriever. sweet as pie and loves to swim, retrieve, hike and snuggle (that's one probably her favorite). We are so in love with her its crazy. She was super scared at first but finally is acting like a real dog and being spoiled rotten.
In other news we have been living in a house which is great. Better area even though it adds 10 mins to everywhere but that's okay, its worth being out in the woods.
Work has been busy which is good. We are hiring more people very soon so that's good news.
I paid off my Pennfoster in the beginning of August which felt great. Huge Relief. just have to finish my last semester now haha.
Been hiking on my days off with the dog. Now I got my friend Emiley to join in too. My plan is to snowshoe as well when winter comes. I love being outside. I have to thank my dad for that.
Life is just dandy.
Some more baked goods:
Also I have been playing God of War on ps4 and its crazy good. If you like Horizon Zero Dawn you must try God of War. Also finally bought Prey which is also good and We Happy Few finally had their full release. Only been like 3 years. Bought it early access when it was cheaper and then Gearbox became apart of it and the price shot up to $60 which I know a lot of people did not appreciate the big company name taking over.
Heading up North to Caribou for Labor day weekend. 4 wheeling- shooting (no killing of animals just targets)- hiking and Houlton Dairy Ice Cream is on the list. The weather looks like it is going to be perfect.
I have been controlling my IBS better which is good. Still have issues but its definitely connected to food so I try to avoid those foods although cheese being one of them ehh not so much haha.
Peptogest has helped wonders if I know im going to be eating something that could cause issues. Enteric coated peppermint capsules which are different then just peppermint capsules because they don't get broken down by the stomach acid they break down in the intestines to help calm and cool any inflammation.
