Bringing in the New Year
As 2018 comes to an end i'm sure most people are reflecting on it. Either they had a great year or had a shitty one. That;s pretty much how it goes.
I have to say it was and an up and down year. Can't say it was amazing or shitty.
1. Previous job; had coworkers leave got very stressful and exhausting.
2. But than the new coworkers were great and made new friends
3. GOT MY FIRST DOG:)
4. Moved to west Bath (which was farther from my previous job, added to the stress)
5. Got a new job 7 minutes from home (loving it and working with a previous cowoker)
6. Started hiking more and enjoying the outdoors
7. Picking up snowshoeing this winter (too poor to ski or learn how to )
8. Took said dog to east grand lake (best thing ever)
9. Corey and i planned for a vacation for 2020, UTAH baby.
10. Paid off my car
11. Paid off Pennfoster
12. Startig my last bit (internship) in the new year for tech program
13. Making new friends at new job, welcomed with open arms
14. First christmas with puppy and boyfriend (usually we spend it with our seperate familys)
15. lost health insurance for two months until it kicks in at my new job (pray that nothing happens)
16. Got a wonderful raise at my previous job that made me feel pretty good before i left 7 months later.
So i guess i have to say overall it was a more positive year then a negative. I believe 2019 will be a good year. Dont know what it holds except hopefully i will get my license before the end of it and pay off at least one of my student loans. (smaller one)
My Plans for new years eve (as my boyfiend is gone) are go to work, pick up some Sam's pizza for dinner, head home get an alcoholic beverage sit down with the pup and watch the new Hulu Into the Dark episode and try to make it until 12? haha sad i know.
New years Day i have off, i do have to work in the AM if there are any hospitalized patients to take care of. Hopefully brunch with my friend then head to petsmart (nail trimmer) and goodwill (scrub tops) just to be out and about for a bit as i did nothing all weeekend except clean, groceries, and laundry and working out of course. Do that 4 times a week now. feels great, definitely helping my shoulders out.
