Week 7

This past week was work week. It went by super fast and i think, overall, it went pretty smoothly. Our team gets a long so well its great. Unfortunately the other team does not which is the cause of us merging back together next month..its going to be really rough. It was really rough the week we started curbside and the whole team was together before we split up. i couldn't walk away from the phones because they never stopped ringing..all 4 lines. 

We decided to work the following Monday when we come back. Vaccine appointments only, pre -scheduled and no in coming calls. over time so that's all i care about. i'm fine working 5 days a week. 

Sunday i visited my parents because it was mother's day. I always know its the best gift you can give your mom when you don't live with them anymore. They don't care about gifts they just want to spend time with you. So that was nice

Today i got my haircut, man did that feel good. worth every penny to have weight lifted off me, literally. can't get the brows done until July though. 

my thoughts on businesses opening:

the amount of rules having to go into outdoor or indoor dinning for restaurants is complicated and long. the amount of time you will have to wait to get seating will probably be even longer now and what rules you have to abide by, to me, will keep me from enjoying the dining experience. honestly not worth my time or effort. I will gladly support via takeout and enjoy it more at home or sitting outside at home. along with retailers opening back up. they aren't like grocery stores where they are in and out and can easily wipe things down. people are going to want to wander, i don't even know about trying clothes on, I feel like that might even be a stretch. so the wait line will be even longer. ill continue to support online.

last week i also made three new delicious dinners that were a hit. this week i also have three different meals. trying to make life a little more exciting that way haha.

need to focus on more school work this week and i definitely will be hiking. It should be a good week off honestly. this is the only time in my young adult life that i will have this much paid time off to enjoy. once we are back to normal its vacation once every 6 months.
