Valentines

I have dated a handful of guys before Corey and every Valentines day i would get something. I am sure they were being thoughtful but I never got anything that was really me or that i really liked. I got a lot of flowers, too typical, boxes of random Russell stovers chocolates, which I HATE, giant milk chocolate Hershey kisses etc things like that. Not me at all. Corey has done the best Valentine's gift which was Boston for the weekend the first year we dated and a really nice fishing pole and rod for the next year. This year I came home and he had done the dishes! Score that's the best thing ever because he never does them! Then we had take out Chinese food and that's about it. Nothing really extraordinary. We are saving money for this house this spring.
If a guy really ever knew me they would know I A. LOVE/Prefer Dark Chocolate b. more specifically dark chocolate with almonds C. MAPLE CANDY or really anything maple. Like that's it plan and simple. The holiday itself though is way too overdone and commercialized. Cheap candy the next day is the real holiday. I know Corey loves me in his own little ways.

On another note it has been havoc trying to finish my damn externship with a neck blood draw on a cat. WHY has it been so difficult  to get one. UGH. I have until February 26th and then I have to redo everything again.

I have started postcrossing which is totally awesome! Sending postcards around the world to other postcrossers. I have sent one to the UK, Germany and Russia so far. I haven't received one yet but I'm sure I will get one soon. You get one sent every time someone receives one from you. My Aunt sent me a ton of postcards and stamps to help me out.

I started watching Markiplier's video's on YouTube. I've known about him but never actually watched them. Now I'm hooked because he's funny and a gorgeous combo of Hawaiian and Korean haha. I have watched his Resident Evil Biohazard and Five Night's at Freddy's videos. Just fantastic! Almost done watching him play Alien: Isolation. I missed out on seeing him at PAX last year. I had gotten sick  with a horrible cold so I was sitting down a lot and didn't have the energy to stand in the long ass lines to meet him.
Speaking of PAX EAST it is in less than a month! March 10-12! Can't wait:). Three whole days of nerding out.
Corey paid off the land so we went out to celebrate last weekend. I took him to a Japanese place. It was delicious. Next step is finding the place and right house to build. Ive started saving money for my corgi. The goal is to have one this year before it snows. I refuse to potty train in the snow.
I watched Barnalade (barnacle and marmalade) for 10 days couple weeks a go. So much fun they are so cute and entertaining! I love being their designated sitter. I will miss it when I eventually leave the place.
Any who off to work soon.
Enjoy the day!
