Update on Life

WE HAVE A DOG. WE HAVE A DOG. June 1st we got our nugget. My post before last talked about test driving her and we convinced the roommate, since its his house, to let us have her. Didn't take much effort. She is pretty lovable. I'm just going to show her off a little bit: Her name is Presence. 4 1/2 year old black Labrador retriever. sweet as pie and loves to swim, retrieve, hike and snuggle (that's one probably her favorite). We are so in love with her its crazy. She was super scared at first but finally is acting like a real dog and being spoiled rotten. In other news we have been living in a house which is great. Better area even though it adds 10 mins to everywhere but that's okay, its worth being out in the woods. Work has been busy which is good. We are hiring more people very soon so that's good news. I paid off my Pennfoster in the beginning of August which felt great. Huge Relief. just have to finish my last semester now haha.

I see a theme

A few days a go I reached out to someone I hadn't talked to in 4 years as we had a falling out because they started dating a crazy person so naturally there goes the friendship-not the first time this had happened. I had been blocked from all their social media outlooks so I thought why not text maybe wont even be the same number anymore could be someone else. I said hello they replied with who they were and asked if I had the right number as my number was not saved in there phone. I KNEW as soon as I told them who I was they would either block me or stop talking and lo and behold as soon as I told them who I was they stopped replying. Saw that coming a mile away but I thought it couldn't hurt to try. Then this morning at 1 am I woke up and just was felt like even though they had probably blocked me I needed to say what I wanted to 4 years ago when I kept quite and just let it happen. I wrote: "You know what no i'm not sorry I bothered you. Ive held it in for 4 yea

Busy Year

So it's been awhile since writing in this blog. I don't do it very much because well I'm really only doing it for myself as it's not a blog people read. Its been a busy few months. Work has changed (promoted in a way). co workers have left and new people have started. sad and new changes. We will be moving into my boyfriends roommates house in a week. West Bath away from the city a bit. I can't wait. The drive will be longer but the "promotion" makes up for that at least for a little while. I have an agreement to stay there until at least November.  Then i may go some place closer. Baking and Cooking like the usual! Oreo Peppermint Crunch cookies Chocolate chip banana bread cookies Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup Creamy Cheddar potato and kielbasa soup cucumber tomato feta Kalamata olive salad Babka Babka Peanut Butter Cookies Funfetti Scones Garlic Mushroom noodles Blueberry lemon muffin cookies

OH life

The new year had been going pretty well. I have had issues with my shoulders for awhile now and they hadn't bothered my in months. I don't know what happened but they got bad again. I ended up seeing a physical therapist in November but because the first visit cost me an arm and a leg I did not keep doing back. So I did the stretches that he recommended but I wasn't feeling much of a difference. He said my posture was horrible (no surprise my job doesn't help that) and my shoulder blade muscles and that whole area is just a mess. He said it is fixable but will take awhile. As days went on I started feeling pain in my rotator cuff area on both sides, right was worse obviously. I talked to the physical therapist at our work who's first job is with humans and also does dogs. She told me to start doing strengthening exercises with an exercise band. Since I have started that I have not had too many issues with my shoulders but I can still tell that my arms get tired qui
