Noobs

 As we know the vet field is struggling for help just like everyone else is in the world. All the seasoned ones are leaving because they are done with the bullshit and so we have all these fresh young faces applying to the vet field and really have no idea what they are getting into. I can say things are tougher right now then they were when i started for sure. This is a challenge for sure.  At my work we have hired three new techs. One has been in the field and took a break and other two are babies to the field (we all started there). One is almost done her schooling for vet tech degree and the other is in school for a science degree.  I was lucky enough when i started to have some incredible mentors to teach me, patient, kind and wise and a sense of humor. These two really inspired me and showed me to love this job and i continued to meet such amazing techs who taught me great things.
