Time just blurs together

 I was doing weekly updates but really all the weeks just blurred together with not too much going on. 

I had my usual vacation up to East Grand Lake. The weather was great and the pup and i were in the water every day! did a lot of kayaking. saw some otters :).  ran every morning. vacation was not long enough. work is a mess. chaos almost every day. we have lost receptionists and so techs have to step in to help which takes them away from the back and we become short handed as well. its a constant problem. thankfully we haven't had to work any Saturdays yet. has been really nice. the weather in Maine has been hot and humid which is not me so i have not been hiking as much. went yesterday because it was finally cool enough for me and it was great. not a soul there. traffic is also an issue depending on where i want to go. 

Debating on doing the VTNE this year. have had no urge to study because im tired when i get home from work and i go right to cooking dinner and then pretty much to bed and on my days off i want to relax and $320 is a lot right now. trying to pay off one of my student loans in the next month or so. maybe winter of 2021 i will take it. i need to find motivation again. and life goes on

baking a lot which is enjoyable. 

I'm ready for fall honestly. 

bring on the cool weather sweaters and pumpkin spice bitches!

 NOMV. What is this not one more vet that is talked about in the profession you may ask? The veterinary profession has one of the highest suicide rates known. And i can tell you Covid made it twice as worse. People are mean and nasty, the profession as a whole is overworked, underpaid, and under appreciated. Its not just about the veterinarians its about all the staff, the techs and receptionists. We all get beaten down. Bake Bake Bake my life away

I made some pumpkin cream cheese muffins the other night for friend dinner night and they were a huge success. I will be making baked frosted donuts with sprinkles tomorrow. I do try to bake at least once a week. I cant bake at all at my boyfriends place which sucks because he literally has nothing i need and buying a stand mixer which i use all the time is a bit pricey so one day when i move out of the parents house into a place with said boyfriend i can start to bake more which is like another year or so.. I haven't really made my own recipes, im not that good but im also still learning and sometimes i add my own twist to things to try it out and usually comes out just as good. I have a few of my own things but not very many. I will slowly add to my baking collection over the next couple years. My mom bought me a ceramic red pie plate today to call my very own:) I have really have become to love baking and i am trying my hand at cooking as well but that can be a bit more expens
